The union of Tyler Florence and Jeremy Fox is over.
About five months after Fox came aboard as the Florence Group’s creative director and helped open Napa’s Rotisserie & Wine, the two chefs have officially parted ways. It confirms rumblings that started earlier this month, when Fox launched his ambitious book project and pop-up dinner series.
Here’s the statement from the Florence Group:
We are thrilled to see our friend, Chef Jeremy Fox, move on to write his upcoming book Seed to Stalk, and we wish him the best in all his future endeavors. To find out more information on his exciting new project, you can visit the website seedtostalk.com.
The move means that Rotisserie & Wine sous chef Tyson Greenwood will be promoted to chef de cuisine. Meanwhile, El Paseo in Mill Valley — Florence’s third restaurant — is still slated to open in March. Stay tuned for more El Paseo news as a debut nears in the coming weeks.
Fox declined to comment on the Rotisserie & Wine news, but did say that we can expect more Seed to Stalk dinner details soon.
